How do I claim credit at the end of an activity series?

Scenario:

An activity series has ended or it is the last activity of the year in a multi-year activity and you would like to claim credit. The credit for all sessions you have attended will "roll up" to allow you to claim credit up to that amount. For example, if an activity met 12 times annually for 1-hour each, and you attended 10 of those sessions, you will be able to claim up to 10 credits for the full activity.

After claiming credit, you will then be able to download a certificate for the full activity reflecting the total credits claimed for it.
Note:
We encourage participants to complete session evaluations, claim credits, and download session evaluations within 1-2 days of the live session. Please claim credit for the series as a whole within 2 weeks of the last session.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Navigate to your activity home from My Current Activities section on the homepage or from your Transcript.

Select the Claim Credit tab that is now visible at the top of the activity page.

Enter the number of credit(s) commensurate with your attendance for the activity.

You may only claim credit(s) once so be sure you have completed all session activities before completing this step. The number of credits you are eligible for is provided in a statement below your credit type.

Then, select Submit. You will then be able to download your certificate.

To view and download your certificate at a later time, reference How do I view and download my certificates?

Note for Nurse Practitioners:
The platform automatically awards AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ to Nurse Practitioners. For the purposes of recertification, the ANCC does accept AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ credits, so learners will be able to use the certificate that was populated with your licensing board.

Also, as per ANCC guidelines, the credentialing center does not want the ANCC logo or language on ANCC certificates. Therefore, the only difference between the certificate nurse practitioners will receive and the certificate nurses receive is that there will be no logo and accrediting body language on the ANCC certificate.
